Honey is up for Adoption

This was one of the hardest decisions I had to make, but I not only have problems affording her (advantix, heartguard, shots, training), I'm also pressed for time and Honey just does not get out enough. She has simply too much potential to be held back by my egotistical needs. She can make a lot of people happy:

Honey is the perfect dog! She has been in foster care for the past 8 months after she and her 11 puppies were found abandoned. Her puppies are raised and adopted out into good homes.

Honey is spayed, up to date with all her shots, preventions and tests. She is obedience trained and would make a great therapy or service dog. She is about 2 years old and the most intelligent dog I had in my care yet!

She is a care taker by nature and loves children, but she will steal their cookies!! :-)

Honey is NOT an outside dog or a dog to be left alone all day. She needs to be challenged because of her great potential, and that is the only reason why I decided to put her up for adoption and not keep her myself. I do not have the time to do her justice.

2 Great Danes and 2 Yellow Labs at the Lake

Olliver, Olivia, Butters, and Honey had a blast at the lake today. Olivia and Honey have been to the water for the first time. Honey had no problem and jumped right in and was swimming after the ball within 2 minutes.

Olivia was a bit shy at first, but she did swim a few yards, before she decided it's not for her. Jumping around in the water is one thing, swimming is another, hehehe.

There is so much life in Olivia these days...people stop on the street when they drive by my yard, just to awe at her. And Honey is as sweet as Olivia is pretty...I can't believe how lucky I am to get to keep 2 results of my work. Usually I have to set them free or adopt them out, but this time I get to keep a couple :)))).

Olivia, Olliver, Sandy, Butters, and Honey are playing in the yard. The second half of the movie shows Olivia barking at the thunder all the time...as if she expected Godzilla to come around the corner! She barked all night, was not to calm down. We had storms before, but she never acted this way. I'm not sure what to make out of that one.

I was thinking of animals acting strange before an earthquake or something like that, but nothing of that sort happened.
